Wisconsin DQ Puts Up Politically Incorrect Sign, Owner Doesnt Back Down-A1-999

A message displayed on the front window of a Dairy Queen in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, has stirred controversy online. The sign prominently features the restaurant’s celebration of traditional holiday greetings such as “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Easter,” alongside expressions of gratitude to veterans on Veterans Day.

Kevin Scheunemann, the restaurant’s owner, defends the message, explaining it was put up nearly four years ago to reflect his and his staff’s dedication to serving God and country. The sign was originally a response to a complaint about Christian music played in the restaurant and has not caused any issues since.

The sign recently gained attention when an Oregon tourist shared a photo of it on Facebook, sparking a debate over its inclusivity. While some customers express support for the message, others criticize the decision to share the image. Local business owners stand behind Scheunemann, pointing out that customers are free to leave if they disagree with the message.

In response, Dairy Queen clarified that Scheunemann’s approach does not represent the company’s official position, emphasizing the importance of treating all customers with respect, regardless of their religious beliefs.
